The purpose of Technical Ministries is to use the gifts, abilities, and resources that God has given us to complement a service or special event at Harvest Family Church.
We are committed to providing technical support to a service or event without causing a distraction or bringing attention to our ministry.
• We are here to encourage one another, including those whom we support technically.
• We are committed to being professional in every way possible.
• We are submissive to each other and to our leadership.
The volunteer Technical Crew provides audio, duplication, graphics, internet, lighting, stage, video, and stage support for the worship services, special services and events. Although some positions require experience, our existing volunteer crew, and technical staff are ready and willing to train you in the specific field you have interest in.
MINISTRY STRAND: Worship Ministries
Strategy
The purpose of this ministry is fulfilled through sound, video, light and duplication support.
Sound Ministry
The sound ministry is responsible for providing quality sound reinforcement for each service at the church. It is imperative that the spoken word be clearly understood. Areas of service include the three services each week in the Sanctuary and other activities throughout the church campus
Lighting Ministry
The Lighting Ministry is responsible for providing an atmosphere for worship that will support the message for each service. This includes the song service, the preaching service and on several occasions each year special presentations by the Church.
Projection Ministry
The Projection Ministry is responsible for providing the visual images that support the services. This includes projection of the words used during the music service, video clips that are used to demonstrate a point being presented. The church uses the Song Show Plus system with two main projectors for the audience and one LCD Monitor used by the choir. The system is designed to use two Windows-based computers with the ability to have different images projected on the main screens.
Media Ministry
The Media Ministry is responsible for the preparation of CD and DVD recordings of the Sunday Morning and Wednesday Service messages. The services are edited before they are uploaded to the internet. Services are recorded live using Sound Forge and edited and then converted to MP3 format before distribution.
